Gurteen is a family business which was established in Suffolk in 1784. Today the business is still retained and run by family members and the passion for men’s clothing burns as fiercely today as it did then. We are located in the very heart of our community, here in Haverhill, and we have a close relationship with the Town, schools and our employees – many of whom have had great grand-parents working here before them!
We offer premium men’s clothing with a strong focus on the fit, fabrics and attention to detail. Best known for our collection of men’s trousers which feature velvet soft cord trousers and stretch cotton chinos, we have since branched out into an extensive range of sweaters, shirts, jackets, waistcoats and shorts. Whether you are looking for a tailored check blazer or a pair of chino shorts – we have something for every man’s stylish wardrobe.
We care about your clothing and we care what fabrics are used, we care how they are made and we care about the people that bring it all together. If you are wearing our clothing, we not only want you to feel comfortable but we want you looking a cut above the rest!
Gurteen operates a balanced multi-channel business that encompasses: retail, wholesale and e-commerce. We are proud to have over 250 independent stockists throughout the country and these retailers are supported by a dedicated sales team. Should you wish to see your nearest stockist then please go to the stockist link on this site or give us a call so we may direct you.
None of the above would be possible without the needle and thread! Our design and production team are constantly on the move, attending fabric shows around the world and looking for the next best thing! This team are also responsible for developing, ‘Own Label’ ranges for our larger Store customers such as John Lewis and Charles Tyrwhitt. It is this connection to the High street that allows us to keep our fingers on the button, ensuring that we evolve as fashion and trends dictate.
We thank you for visiting this site and would hope that you visit us again soon.
